Duerden approximates that 114,000 people visited the Covey Center’s little theater, main theater, dance studio and art gallery in 2008.

1. Absolute Adele with Jennifer Celia
Covey Center Main Stage, Provo, June 27, 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Enjoy a delightful tribute to one of the iconic modern voices of this era. The event center website says: “In the Absolute Adele tribute, Jennifer Cella delivers a stunningly accurate portrayal of the British songstress and pop icon. As an accomplished singer with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, she has turned her impressive vocal talent into a lifelong passion–to bring the live Adele experience to audiences worldwide. Featuring songs like ‘Rumor Has It,’ ‘Rolling In the Deep,’ and ‘Someone Like You, this is one evening that you’ll never forget.”

2. Pleasant Grove 2026 Strawberry Days
Historic Downtown Pleasant Grove, June 20, all day
Pleasant Grove’s annual city celebration has some unique, specialized events centered on its strawberry theme. The website notes that this is the 105th celebration and this year’s theme is “Strawberry Days – Stars, Stripes and Strawberries.” It’s mission statement says: “To unite families and the community through activities and service; in a celebration to honor our past and build a brighter future.” Saturday’s events will include the parade, historic tours, concessions, carnival, rodeo and, of course, strawberries and cream.

3. Imaginaria
Thanksgiving Point, Lehi, June 27-Aug. 22, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
Enjoy the patriotic festivities focused on America 250 at Thanksgiving Point. The event website says: “This summer, Imaginaria transforms the 50-acre Ashton Gardens into an extraordinary festival experience where imagination meets the American spirit. Families will wander, jump, and splash through immersive, themed play zones inspired by the stories, symbols, and ingenuity that shaped our nation. From hands-on discovery and interactive creativity to moments of patriotic wonder, children of all ages will explore what makes America truly America. The gardens will come alive with dozens of original craft experiences, a sweeping field of red, white, and blue historical flags, and breathtaking larger-than-life artistic installations including iconic replicas of America’s most beloved landmarks like a 40 ft Statue of Liberty, Lincoln Memorial, Mount Rushmore, and more.”
