The full Utah Valley calendar of events is on L4, but here are three local events you should check out this week:

1. 2026 Holi Festival of Colors

Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple, Spanish Fork, March 28-29, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

It’s become one of the most iconic images of spring in Utah Valley as hundreds of people gather in Spanish Fork to toss colorful dust into the air in celebration of the changing season. The festival website says: “In India, Holi announces the arrival of spring and the passing of winter. The festival breathes an atmosphere of social merriment. People bury their hatchets with a warm embrace and throw their worries to the wind. Every nook and corner presents a colorful sight. Young and old alike are covered with colors (red, green, yellow, blue, pink, orange, violet, and more). People in small groups are seen singing, dancing and throwing colors on each other. Though liquid colors are used in India (where it’s warm) we prohibit them, as we don’t want anyone to catch cold on account of the festival.”

2. Lehi’s Easter Eggstravaganza 2026

Osier Park, Lehi, March 27-28, 9 p.m.

Cities throughout the area are celebrating the holiday with their annual Easter Egg hunts, although they often have selected different days. Lehi, for example, is doing a night hunt on Friday and a regular hunt on Saturday. The city website says: “Join us for an egg-citing morning filled with thousands of eggs, fun mini-games, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny–ready for photos and high-fives! Every child gets to fill their basket! Hunts are divided into age groups to ensure a fun and fair experience for all.”

3. A Weekend with Tony Foster

Sundance Resort, Provo, March 21, 7 p.m.

Learn more about art and nature with artist Tony Foster as the resort will have a number of events during the weekend. The resort website says, “Please join us in welcoming artist Tony Foster for a special weekend featuring a documentary screening, artist talk, and exhibition viewing. Tony Foster is a plein air artist who has worked in the World’s wildernesses, often traveling on foot or by canoe, to record his observations and experiences through his art. Foster’s watercolors on paper with written diary notes and symbolic objects or “souvenirs” highlight the beauty and fragility of nature and, the artist hopes, further the cause of environmental preservation.”
