After having to cancel the 2025 jamboree due to competing jamboree schedules, Beaver has set the dates for this year’s ATV jamboree for Tuesday, June 9, through Friday, June 12, 2026. Beaver is between two mountain ranges – the mysterious Mineral Mountains on the west and the lofty Tushar Mountains on the east. These dates will provide ideal opportunities to explore the diverse beauties and treasures that these mountain ranges have to offer.

The Beaver County jamboree offers a variety of rides that showcase the 290 miles of trail through spectacular scenery unique to this area of Utah. Experienced guides will help you navigate these trails and introduce you to evidence of Anasazi culture, fascinating mining history, and breathtaking mountain scenery. Once you have experience with these trails, you will want to come back and enjoy them on your own.

Check-in will be on Tuesday afternoon, June 9, followed by a Pork Bellies BBQ dinner at 5:00 pm. The next three days will be filled with guided rides and fun. Join an ATV parade on Beaver’s main street on Thursday, followed by an ice cream social at The Creamery. The Timberline Restaurant will cater the closing dinner. Lunches from the famous Arshel’s Café can be purchased for each day’s ride.

Registration opened December 1. There is no limit set on the number of riders yet, but there is a limit for each of the 17 ride choices offered this year. Once that limit is reached, the ride will close. Some rides are offered only on certain days, and there will be no chance to change rides at the jamboree. Register early for the best choices. Fees are $130 per person and include two dinners, an ice cream social, a T-shirt, three days of guided rides, a bag of goodies from the Utah Office of Tourism, and entrees for the prizes. Registration and information are available at https://beavercountyatvjamboree.org.

Five new rides are being offered this year – Buckskin Valley, Butch Cassidy, Scoop Shovel, Sulphurdale & Cove Fort Loop, and Twist Creek. These are in addition to a list of 12 other rides that will have you looking forward to coming again next year. Here is information on these new rides and a sample of others being offered –

Buckskin Valley

This intermediate-level trail touches multiple points on the Old Spanish Trail and continues through the beautiful red rock formations of Panguitch Valley. You will also experience the splendor of Showalter Mountain and the lower Bear Valley.

Butch Cassidy

This historic trail goes by Butch Cassidy’s birthplace in Beaver, includes two thrilling water crossings, and some challenging mountain grades. It also features a stop at one of Cassidy’s hideouts in Circleville.

Scoop Shovel

This advanced-level trail climbs the Bearskin Ridge face over the peak, offering expansive views and overlooks of Beaver and Milford Valleys. It then follows a narrow winding trail past an old abandoned steam shovel before dropping into Old Ranch Canyon at the base of South Twin Flat Mountain.

Sulphurdale and Cove Fort Loop

Another intermediate-level trail with a stop at the top of Gillies Hill for a scenic overlook of the Beaver Valley, and then a stop at Cove Fort for lunch and a slice of pioneer history. A ride along the base of Little Shelly and Marbletop mountains follows, with a visit to the Sulphurdale geothermal plant area.

Twist Creek

This ride is limited to machines that are 50 inches or less and has a difficulty rating of intermediate plus. The trail passes through mahogany, spruce, and aspen groves, interspersed with grassy meadows at altitudes of over 9,000 feet in the Fishlake National Forest. Lunch will be at a peaceful high-mountain lake.

Picture Rock

This ride is not new, but it is one of my favorites. The trail climbs into the Tushar Mountains to the base of Mount Baldy. Crossing over Tanner Mountain, the trail fords Indian Creek and then travels up Twitchell Canyon. Lunch will be at scenic Manderfield Reservoir. This ride features many water crossings, with the highlight being a stop at the Picture Rock Quarry. The shale rocks here feature intricate designs that resemble art. You will have a chance to pick some of your favorites. The ride is limited to 60-inch machines.

This is one of the best jamborees Utah has to offer. If you are not excited by now, go back to the top and reread this. When you go, take plenty of water, keep the rubber side down, and register early for the best ride choices.
