The Utah Valley Marathon is a fast Boston Marathon qualifying race without a time penalty. Runners descend 1444 feet just barely below the 1500 feet cutoff that the Boston Marathon allows without a time penalty. The course begins in Wallsburg, Utah, descending into Provo Canyon and showcasing the diverse landscapes of Utah County. Marathon runners will follow the Provo River along scenic canyon roads, taking in spectacular views of Bridal Veil Falls, the mountains, and the city before finishing in historic downtown Provo at the Utah County Courthouse park.”
