Sgt. Iosiwo Uruo, 27, of Agana Heights, Guam, died May 24, 2007, in Buhriz, Iraq, when his unit came under enemy fire. Uruo was with the 1st Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, a Stryker brigade combat team.
Staff Sgt. Kristopher A. Higdon, 25, of Odessa, Texas, died May 22, 2007, in Taji, Iraq, when a homemade bomb exploded near his unit. Higdon was with Company B, 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment of the 4th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
Pfc. Robert A. Worthington, 19, of Jackson, Ga. died May 22, 2007, in Taji, Iraq, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his unit. Worthington was a member of Company B, 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment of the 4th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
Staff Sgt. David C. Kuehl, 27, of Wahpeton, N.D., died May 22, 2007, in Taji, Iraq, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his unit. Kuehl was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
Pfc. Aaron D. Gautier, 19, of Hampton, Va., died May 17, 2007, in Baghdad when his mounted patrol came under enemy small arms fire and bombing. Gautier was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
Pfc. Jonathan V. Hamm, 20, of Baltimore, Md., died May 17, 2007, in Baghdad when his mounted patrol came under enemy small arms fire and bombing. Hamm was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
Pvt. Anthony J. Sausto, 22, Lake Havasu City, Ariz., died May 10, 2007, during enemy small arms fire in Baghdad. Sausto was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
Sgt. Jason W. Vaughn, 29, Iuka, Miss., died May 10, 2007, in Baqubah, when a bomb exploded near his vehicle. Vaughn was a member of the 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
Sgt. Maj. Bradly D. Conner, 41, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, died May 9, 2007, near Al-Hillah of wounds suffered when a homemade bomb exploded near his vehicle. Conner was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 1st Special forces Group at Fort Lewis.

Cpl. Wade J. Oglesby, 27, of Grand Junction, Colo., died April 18, 2007, in Taji, Iraq, when a bomb detonated near his vehicle. Oglesby was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, a Stryker Brigade Combat Team.

Sgt. Larry R. Bowman, 29, of Granite Falls, N.C., died April 13, 2007, in Baghdad after his vehicle struck an explosive. Bowman was assigned to the 513th Transportation Company, 57th Transportation Battalion, 593rd Corps Support Group.

Master Sgt. Robb Needham, 51, of Vancouver, Wash., died Sept. 20, 2006, when his patrol came under fire during a combat operation in Baghdad. Needham was an Army reservist assigned to the 1st Battalion, 356th Regiment (Logistical Support), 4th Brigade, 91st Division at Fort Lewis.
Spc. David J. Ramsey, 27, of Tacoma, Wash., died Sept. 7, 2006, in Spanaway after suffereing non-combat injuries and being evacuated from Iraq on Aug. 24, 2006. Ramsey was assigned to the 47th Combat Support Hospital, 62nd Medical Brigade.

Pfc. Adam J. Harris, 21, of Abilene, Texas, was killed Sept. 22, 2004, when he was shot by a sniper. Harris was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
Army Pfc. Nathan E. Stahl, 20, of Highland, Ind., died Sept. 21, 2004, when his vehicle was struck by a bomb in Ramadi, Iraq. Stahl was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment.
Sgt. Jacob H. Demand, 29, of Palouse, Wash., died Sept. 14, 2007, in Mosul when when his patrol was attacked. Demand was a member of B Troop, 1st Squadron, 14th Cavalry, 2nd Infantry Division.

Cpl. Demetrius L. Rice, 24, of Ortonville, Minn., died July 14, 2004, in Tal Afar died when the vehicle he was in rolled over as the driver tried to avoid another vehicle. Rice was a member of B Company, 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.

Pfc. Bradli Nathaniel Coleman, 19, of Ford City, Pa., died May 30, 2004, in Baghdad of injuries suffered when mortar rounds hit his living quarters. Coleman was assigned to Headquarters Company, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division.
Spc. Michael J. Wiesemann, 20, of North Judson, Ind., died May 29 at Quyarrah Air Base of non-combat related injuries. Wiesemann was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
Spc. Chase R. Whitham, 21, of Harrisburg, Ore., died May 8, 2004, in Mosul when an electrical current charged the water in a pool he was swimming in. Whitham was assigned to the 296th Forward Support Battalion, Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
Spc. Isela Rubalcava, 25, of El Paso, Texas, died May 8, 2004, in Mosul when a mortar round hit near her. Rubalcava was assigned to the 296th Combat Support Battalion, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division.
Spc. Jesse R. Buryj, 21, of Canton, Ohio, died May 5, 2004, while trying to stop an attack at a checkpoint near Karbala. Buryj was assigned to the 66th Military Police Co., 1st Military Police Brigade.
Spc. Trevor A. Win’E, 22, of Orange, Calif., died May 1, 2004, after his vehicle hit an improvised explosive device in Tikrit. Win’E was assigned to the 24th Quartermaster Company.

Sgt. Jacob R. Herring, 21, of Kirkland, Wash., died April 28, 2004, after his squad was attacked with a hand grenade near Tal Afar. Herring was assigned to C Company, 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
Spc. Frank K. Rivers Jr., 23, of Woodbridge, Va., died April 14, 2004, of heart failure after collapsing during training in Mosul. Rivers was assigned to the 334th Signal Battalion, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division.
Spc. Tyanna Avery-Felder, 22, of Bridgeport, Conn., died April 7, 2004, in Balad of injuries suffered when the truck she was riding in hit a makeshift explosive device. Avery-Felder was assigned to 296th Forward Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
Spc. Philip Gerard Rogers, 23, of Gresham, Ore., died April, 4, 2004, in Mosul when an explosive hit his military vehicle. Rogers was assigned to Headquarters Company, 296th Combat Support Battalion, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division.

Sgt. Michael Matthew Merila, 23, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., died Feb. 16, 2004, in Tal Afar, Iraq, when his convoy was hit by an explosive. Merila was assigned to Headquarters Troop, 1st Squadron 14th Cavalry Regiment.
Staff Sgt. Thomas Douglas Robbins, 27, of Schenectady, N.Y., died Feb. 9, 2004, in Mosul, when unexploded ordnance, rocket-propelled grenades and mortar rounds detonated while being moved to a demolition point. Robbins was assigned to Troop A, 1st Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment.
