Good job Springville!
The citizens of Springville made their voice heard Tuesday during the election about the new rec center — a resounding “no!” Now the question is, will Springville city officials listen or will they do what they usually do — ignore the voters and choose to do whatever they darn well please, yet again?
The citizens of our city are living in a down economy, trying to make ends meet, living within their means and on a budget. Why does the city feel that it is exempt from these same issues? A new city center, library, unused fire station at the top of 400 South, and does anyone outside of the city know how much the new building by the sewer plant cost the citizens? Understand it’s state of the art and no one outside of the city offices knows how much it really cost the taxpayers of Springville.
