S.M.A.R.T. move
I am writing as a father and citizen who wishes to stop the abuse of controlled substances in our community. It starts out small, and then turns into a desperate ride down the slippery slope of addiction. As a concerned citizen, I am reaching out to this community to ask for your help and support.
On Saturday, October 29, S.M.A.R.T. (Substance Misuse and Abuse Reduction Team) of Utah County will sponsor our semi-annual “Clean Out Your Cabinet” (medicine cabinet) event. This event will be held in several locations throughout Utah County to provide us/you with a safe and environmentally responsible way to dispose of unneeded prescription medications of any kind.
