Earlier this week, the show “On The Case With Paula Zahn” announced that they would air a episode this Sunday featuring the murder of BYU professor Kay Mortensen. Tonight, “Dateline” on NBC will also air a segment about the case.

“Dateline” released a preview of tonight’s episode, where they will show interviews with Mortensen’s wife, son and daughter-in-law.

Originally, Mortensen’s son and daughter-in-law were charged with the grisly death and even jailed after walking in on the murder in progress. On March 5, Martin Bond was sentenced to life without parole for the murder. During the trial, the Roger and Pam Mortensen, Kay’s son and daughter-in-law, spoke out about how being falsely accused ruined their lives.

The show will also feature interviews with members of the Utah County Sheriff’s Office.

The show will air on NBC tonight at 7 p.m.
