Veterans Day deals available in Utah Valley for veterans, service members

Local veterans and active-duty service members have several places to get free and discounted food, services and goods in Utah Valley on Veterans Day.

 Most deals are available for veterans and active-duty service members and require proof of military service. Check local stores to make sure they are a participating location. 

 

Restaurant offers for veterans

Applebee’s – All veterans and active duty military members can get a free meal from a limited menu. 

California Pizza Kitchen – Veterans and military personnel can enjoy a pizza and non-alcoholic beverage for free. 

Carrabas -Veterans and service members can receive a free appetizer of their choice on Tuesday.

Chick-fil-A – Participating locations will offer free meals to veterans and military personnel. 

Chili’s  – Chili’s is offering a free meal to veterans or active service members on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at participating locations. 

Denny’s – Build your own free grand slam between 5 a.m and noon.

Einstein Bros. Bagels – Get a free coffee at participating locations.

Famous Dave’s – Former and active military can receive a free One Meat Salute free from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Golden Corral – Former and current military personnel can participate in the 14th annual Golden Corral Military Appreciation Monday dinner. The event is free for anyone who has served in the military.

IHOP – Current and former military service members get free red, white and blue pancakes or a red, white and blue pancakes combo plate.  

Krispy Kreme – Active-duty, retirees and military veterans can receive a free doughnut and small coffee Tuesday. 

Little Caesars – All veterans and active military members can get a free Crazy Bread. 

Menchie’s – Veterans and active-duty service members can get a free 6 oz. frozen yogurt Tuesday. 

Olive Garden – All veterans and active members of the military can get a complimentary entree from a set menu.  

Outback Steakhouse – To thank all military mates, Outback is offering a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage Tuesday. 

Red Lobster – Veterans and active-duty service members can receive a free select appetizer Monday through Thursday. 

Red Robin – Red Robin is offering all veterans and active-duty service members for a free Tavern Double border with Bottomless Steak Fries Tuesday.  

Sizzler – All active-duty service members and veterans can get free lunch Tuesday until 4 p.m. Guests can choose a free entree of either six-ounce Tri Tip Steak, a single Malibu Chicken or a half-dozen Fried Shrimp with a coffee, iced tea or fountain drink. 

Starbucks – Free tall-brewed coffee for active-duty, veterans and their spouses Tuesday.

Texas Roadhouse – Active, former or retired military members can get free lunch from a select menu.

T.G.I. Friday’s – All veterans and active-duty military can get free lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Village Inn – Veterans and active-duty service members can get free breakfast any time of the day from a select menu. They will also get a “Thank You For Your Service Card,” giving a 20 percent discount on the next visit. 

Tucanos Brazilian Grill: All active-duty, reserve and retired military and veterans receive a complimentary shrimp skewer on Veterans Day. Veterans will also get a Veterans Card that gives 25 percent off dinner for four.

 

Store offers for Veterans Day 

Bed Bath & Beyond - Veterans and active-duty service members can receive a 20 percent discount on their entire purchase through Tuesday.  

Cabelas- Cabela’s will offer all U.S. military veterans, active-duty military, Guard/Reserve, law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services personnel their regular employee discount. 

Chuck E. Cheese’s – All U.S. Armed Forces veterans and active-duty service members can get 20 free tokens through Saturday. 

Dollar General – All veterans, active duty service members and their family members will receive an 11 percent discount on a qualifying purchases in the store and online on Tuesday. 

Great Clips – For the second consecutive year, Great Clips is giving free haircuts to active, inactive, retired members and veterans Tuesday. 

Home Depot – The Home Depot is offering a 10 percent discount to all U.S. military veterans. Active service members receive the 10 percent discount year-round. 

Lowe’s – All active, reserve, honorably discharged, retired military personnel and their immediate families receive a 10 percent discount Tuesday.

Supersonic Car Wash –  Veterans and active-duty service members can get a free car wash at all participating locations along the Wasatch Front.

7-Eleven – U.S military personnel and veterans can receive a free car wash at any 7-Eleven location that operates a car wash Tuesday. 

 JC Penney: Veterans, active-duty military and family members can receive an extra 20 percent off in stores through Thursday with coupon.

Sports Authority: All Veterans and military personnel can stop at their local Sports Authority store to receive 15 percent off their entire purchase.

National Parks No Fee Day – All national parks will have free entrance days Tuesday.
