Many health risks come with birth control pill

Oct 4, 2014

To those of you ladies who believe taking the “pill” to prevent pregnancy is the right thing to do, listen up: My daughter who is 44 (never been married) was given the “pill” by her doctor to aid in improving her menstrual cycle. She took it for quite a number of years. The results: According to a cancer specialist, the “pill” directly caused my daughter’s breast cancer.

After going through weekly radiation treatments then surgery, my daughter was put on a medication called Tomoxaphin which she is required to take for five years to hopefully stop the breast cancer from coming back. This medication causes hot flashes and feelings of uneasiness.

Unfortunately, that isn’t the end of this shocking diagnosis. My daughter had to have a hysterectomy due to the enormous amount of estrogen her body still manufactured. Now, if she gets married she will not be able to have children.

I felt everyone needed to know what else taking the “pill” does.
