We want you to know what you have done to our family. Me, Sadie and B.J. have walked the streets in the Lehi city cemetery thousands of times in the 10 years of Sadie’s, and five years of B.J.’s lives for them to be safe.

That all ended on Oct. 14 at 3:45 when you stupid idiot came upon us, not slowing down or even watching out for us. You hit Sadie, stopped, got out and apologized, then took off leaving me to walk back home carrying her and getting B.J. home safe.

When we got home I saw she was bleeding from her bottom and took her to our veterinarian in Orem. But there wasn’t anything they could do for her and we had to put her to sleep. We just wanted you to know what your reckless driving caused. She was my best friend. She was B.J.’s best friend and playmate. I don’t know how we will survive without her.

We are devastated and heartbroken.
