In favor of school bond
The Provo City School District is proposing a $108 million bond initiative for rebuilding five Provo schools. I am in favor of this initiative.
I attend Timpanogos Elementary School which was rebuilt in 2008. Since it was rebuilt it is safer for fires, earthquakes, tornadoes and lockdowns. I think the bond is a great idea because the students in the Provo School District can have a nicer and safer school, a higher quality of education and having new schools will make the community look nicer.
An example of a bond initiative that passed that has improved the city of Provo is the new recreation center. I think it is a great idea for the residents of Provo to get a chance to vote on whether or not the bond passes.
The election will be held Nov. 4. I invite all residents of Provo to come out and vote YES to the bond.
