Utah Planned Parenthood pulls pic of condom with Mormon ‘CTR’ sign
The Planned Parenthood Association of Utah is pulling an image of a condom packages printed with a symbol associated with Mormon children’s teachings from its Facebook page.
The organization said Wednesday that the condoms printed with a symbol for the phrase “Choose the Right” were a limited run intended to spark and open conversation about sexual health.
Planned Parenthood spokeswoman Katrina Barker says they took the image down after hearing feedback from people who disapproved of the use of the shield design similar to popular rings worn by Mormon children and teenagers. The rings often serve as a reminder to make moral decisions.

The concept of preventing abortions is good, but their motives were definitely twisted to knowingly use the CTR phrase and shield to cause a stir. I guess they’re getting the free publicity they wanted. PR stunt on their part. They weren’t ignorant in knowing it would rub a lot of people the wrong way and cause a stir.

You don’t have to follow a certain religion, you don’t have to believe in it, just respect one another. Respect one another’s beliefs you don’t have to like it. CTR to many of us starting at a very very young age is something special. Respect us… Respect our children, respect humans.
