Cedar Hills man arrested on reports of raping teenager
American Fork police officers arrested a Cedar Hills man for reportedly sexually assaulting and raping a teenage girl.
Police reports state a 13-year-old girl told police that Aaron Whittle had been sexually abusing her since March 2015.
Whittle, 29, touched the girl’s chest twice in March 2015. For a few months, Whittle sexually assaulted the girl, reports state.
The girl reported to police that between fall 2015 and July, Whittle raped her at least five times.
The girl said she tried to stop him several times, but he overpowered her, reports state.
Police officers texted Whittle on Monday and were able to locate him when he returned to his home on Friday.
Whittle was booked into Utah County Jail on suspicion of 13 first-degree felonies of aggravated sexual abuse, five first-degree felonies of rape, two first-degree felonies of sodomy on a child, and one second-degree felony charge of attempted aggravated sexual abuse of a child.
