The Utah County Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking David Belback, last known to live in the Orem area, for one warrant for his arrest.

Belback’s warrant results from an incident on Aug. 26, 2016. Police reports state Belback, 36, was shoplifting in Shopko in Orem. Belback then stole a bike and fled the scene.

Police found him at his residence and placed him into custody.

Belback told police he stole clothes and stuffed them in a backpack, which was also stolen, before stealing the bike, reports state.

Belback was booked into Utah County Jail on one third-degree felony charge of shoplifting and one third-degree felony of theft.

Belback posted bail, but has yet to appear for mandatory court hearings.

A warrant for his arrest was issued Sept. 12.

Belback has a history of arrests in Utah County, having been arrested more than 20 times for drug possession charges, shoplifting charges, and even stealing vehicles.

Belback has been described as being 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing about 200 pounds. He has hazel eyes and brown hair.

Marston was last known to live in the Lehi area and is wanted for two warrants for his arrest.

The first is for one third-degree felony of failing to stop at command of a police officer.

The second is for a class B misdemeanor of driving on a suspended license.
