Police: Man who threatened Provo officers on Snapchat faces new charges of sexual exploitation
An 18-year-old already arrested on reports of threatening the Provo Police Department via Snapchat was arrested again Wednesday on reports of using Snapchat to create child pornography.
Police reports state a concerned parent contacted the Orem Police Department after her daughter received a sexually suggestive video on Snapchat from the suspect, Jonah Robinson.
Robinson, 18, reportedly sent a video of two naked underage girls to his Snapchat story where all of his followers could see the video.
Robinson told police the video was from a New Year’s Eve party in Orem. Robinson saw the two females nude and began recording the incident, reports state.
Robinson told police he took the video down, though he has more than 200 followers on Snapchat who could’ve seen it.
Robinson was booked into Utah County Jail on suspicion of three second-degree felony charges of sexual exploitation.
