After months of speculation, Saratoga Springs officially announced that a Costco will be built in the city.

The new Costco will be located on the west side of Redwood Road, north of Market Street, according to the city. The building site is a short ways north of the intersection of Pioneer Crossing and Redwood Road.

The city says there is no official timeline for construction and opening at this point.

The proposed plans include the installation of two new public streets that will connect from Market Street and Redwood Road, to be called Medical Drive and Exchange Drive.

The Costco location will be the first on the west side Utah County, and the fourth location countywide. There are currently Costco locations in Lehi, Orem and Spanish Fork.
