The annual Warm Bodies, Warm Souls Winter Clothing Drive assembled 561 bags of clothes and $10,040 in donations to charity across the state, the charity sponsors announced Thursday.

Put on by Bank of Utah, Artic Circle and Red Hanger, the annual charity drive gathered items from 73 statewide collections sites — including storefronts of the sponsoring businesses — and will deliver them to 15 charities throughout Utah.

In Provo, Community Action Services and Food Bank and the Food and Care Coalition will both be recipients of the clothes.

Other local businesses involved in the charity drive were Great Dane Transportation and Gandy Dancer Mercantile.
