Sub for Santa: Single mother needs Christmas assistance after divorce

As Christmas approaches, a mother of seven children who recently went through a divorce is looking for some assistance providing gifts to her family.
Caren, who moved to Utah County with five of her children who are under 18, said everything she makes goes directly to rent and bills, and there isn’t anything left over.
United Way is looking for someone to be a sub for Santa for Caren and help her give her children a magical Christmas.
“My children have been through so much with this divorce, and we are healing together, and this would be a huge blessing!” she said.
Gift suggestions for her eldest still at home, Manny, 14, is twin bedding, a carving set and art supplies. Manny also needs a hoodie, long-sleeve shirt and joggers.
Weston, 12, also needs a hoodie, long-sleeve shirt and joggers, and is asking for a baseball hat and an Anime poster.
Some jewelry, make-up and twin bedding would make 10-year-old Alaina happy; she also needs a fleece jacket, leggings, and a long-sleeve shirt.
Two-year-olds Nixie and Garrett each need sweatpants, long-sleeve shirts and pajamas. They both want musical toy, and Barbie’s for Nixie and Spider-Man toy for Garrett would be well received.
