Editor’s note: All United Way’s Sub for Santa participants’ names have been changed. To help a family like this one, visit https://subforsanta.org or text or call the Sub for Santa hotline at 801-356-6300. As of today, 329 families are still in need of support.

Raising five kids on a single income can be an expensive endeavor, and is something Tanya and Roy know all to well.

Because all their money goes to bills and food, and they don’t have any help from friends and family, Tanya reached out to United Way for help providing Christmas for her family.

United Way is looking for someone to step in and ease Tanya and Roy’s burdens this season.

A donor could make 12-year-old Gavin happy by getting him a football, sports equipment, or an Xbox, to go with a short-sleeve shirt, sweatpants and gloves. Channing, 10, needs leggings and a short-sleeve shirt, and would like nail painting accessories and arts and crafts.

Baby dolls are top of the wish list for 8-year-old Caroline, who also needs a short-sleeve shirt, joggers and leggings, and seven-year-old Savannah would like dolls and accessory crafts to go with leggings, a short-sleeve shirt and sweatpants.

Henry, 4, would like a remote control car and a Spiderman toy, and needs sweatpants, a short-sleeve shirt and joggers.

Starting at $4.32/week.
