Man arrested after reportedly shooting gun at Vineyard apartment

According to a press release from the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of possible shots fired in the vicinity of The Vine apartment complex near 600 East and 250 North.
While searching the area, the deputies received information that an intoxicated man had “discharged a firearm from a third floor apartment,” per the release.
When an attempt to contact the suspect via cellphone was unsuccessful, the UCSO Metro SWAT team was activated, breaching his door and taking him into custody.
No injuries or property damage was reported.
The man was booked into the Utah County Jail on suspicion of unlawful discharge of a firearm and being a convicted felon with a firearm. He also had active warrants out for his arrest.
