A West Valley City motorcyclist died in a fatal two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon near Eureka.

Robert Anderson, 34, was traveling east of Eureka on SR-6 near milepost 144 at the time of the collision.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, there was a sharp turn on the road, and Anderson’s Harley-Davidson motorcycle went over the double yellow line, and was struck head-on by a Ford F-350 in oncoming traffic.

Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
