The closure, which was lifted late Monday night, caused several cancelations to inbound and outbound flights, according to Provo police, and travelers were asked to check with airlines for any Tuesday delays.

Some injuries were sustained, and one person was transported to Utah Valley Hospital by medics. Holland told the Daily Herald on Tuesday the injuries were not burn related and were not substantial.
The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the incident, Holland said.
According to FlightRadar24, the incident forced significant delays to American Eagle and Allegiant Air flights to Phoenix as well as the cancelation of an American Eagle flight to Dallas-Fort Worth, an Allegiant Air flight to Phoenix and a Breeze Airways flight to Santa Ana, California.
However, commercial flights appeared to be back on schedule by Tuesday morning.
