According to Spanish Fork police, a truck pulling a horse trailer was traveling westbound on U.S. 6 when it collided with several vehicles stopped at a red light at Spanish Fork Parkway.

Two people were transported to the local hospital in serious condition, including the woman, who died from her injuries, police said.

There were also minor injuries to people who were not hospitalized, and one horse sustained a broken leg.

Spanish Fork Lt. Cory Slaymaker said Monday the identity of the woman had yet to be released. The case is under investigation.
