Woman injured by falling rock at Bridal Veil Falls

The Utah County Sheriff's Office emblem is shown Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024.A woman is in serious condition after she was struck in the head by a falling rock at Bridal Veil Falls on Tuesday, according to authorities.
Utah County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Raymond Ormond said search and rescue responded to the incident, and that the woman initially lost consciousness but woke up and was talking.
She was pulled out of the area and flown by medical evacuation helicopter to the hospital, Ormond said.
