This year’s Impact Vineyard Awards Ceremony will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2024. This event recognizes the contributions of those who have made a significant impact on the community. On Thursday, April 25, Vineyard’s Community Fair will be held, offering community members an opportunity to learn more about the inner workings of their city.

The anticipation is building in Vineyard City as the annual Impact Vineyard Awards Ceremony and Community Fair approach. Scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday, respectively, these events serve as a platform to recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals who have made a significant impact on the community while also providing an opportunity for residents to engage with local government processes and discover ways to become more involved in shaping the future of their city.

The Impact Vineyard Awards Ceremony shines a spotlight on the unsung heroes who work to enhance the quality of life for their fellow residents. From dedicated volunteers to innovative entrepreneurs, these individuals exemplify the spirit of community service and embody the values that make Vineyard City such a vibrant and inclusive place to live.

Categories for recognition include volunteer, trailblazer, strengthening community members and more, ensuring that a diverse range of contributions are celebrated and acknowledged.

“The Impact Vineyard Awards Ceremony is not just about honoring individuals; it’s about celebrating the shared efforts of our community to create positive change,” said Vineyard Mayor Julie Fullmer. “These awards serve as a reminder that every action, no matter how small, has the power to make a difference and inspire others to get involved.”

The Community Fair provides an invaluable opportunity for residents to learn more about the inner workings of their city and discover ways to actively participate in local governance. Representatives from various city departments will be on hand to share information about municipal services, upcoming projects and volunteer opportunities.

“The Community Fair is a chance for residents to gain insight into the decision-making processes that impact their daily lives,” said Jenna Ahern, Vineyard City communications manager. “By fostering greater transparency and encouraging active participation, we hope to empower residents to play a more active role in shaping the future of the city.”

Whether it’s volunteering for a neighborhood cleanup initiative, joining a local advisory board or simply staying informed about city policies and initiatives, the Impact Vineyard Awards Ceremony and Community Fair offer something for everyone. By recognizing the contributions of local heroes and promoting community engagement, Vineyard City continues to pave the way for a brighter and more inclusive future.

Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and join in the celebration of community spirit at the Impact Vineyard Awards Ceremony on Tuesday and the Community Fair on Thursday. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the place we call home.
