“Families and single adults line up for meals in every kind of weather,” said Stacey Gallegos, Community Outreach Director for St. Anne’s Center & Lantern House, in a news release. “A dependable coat, dry boots or a warm blanket can be the difference between getting sick or finishing the day strong. Warm Bodies, Warm Souls brings our community together and stretches our budget so our team can spend more time on important housing and employment work.”
The highest needs are coats, hats, scarves, gloves, blankets, socks and underwear.
“Every fall, we watch Utahns rally and bring in not just gently used items but handmade scarves, thoughtfully bundled outfits and more,” said Megan Kenley, AVP Communications & Marketing Manager at Bank of Utah. “It’s humbling to witness that spirit of giving, and inspiring to know those donations will be shared among 15 deserving charities statewide.”
