Fall is here — a season of golden leaves, crisp air and the promise of the holidays ahead. But for many of our clients at the Food and Care Coalition, it also brings the harsh reality of cold nights and long winter days without shelter, warmth or basic necessities.

At the Food and Care Coalition, we provide 110 units of onsite housing with wrap-around services to help individuals move toward stability. In addition to housing, we are the only location in Utah County providing daily meals, showers, laundry services, hygiene items and more – critical resources that make a real difference during the winter months.

As an overflow option, a warming center will be available from Nov. 17 through March 1 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. to ensure no one is left out in the cold. However, not everyone experiencing homelessness makes it to the warming center, and the cold daytime hours can be equally difficult.

The need for winter sleeping bags, new or gently used coats, hats, gloves and non-fleece blankets is urgent. Your donations make a real difference.

Your compassionate generosity ensures no one faces winter’s chill alone. You can help by dropping off needed items or organizing a donation drive. Every contribution brings comfort, hope and warmth to those in need in our community.
