Every day in Utah County, neighbors experiencing poverty and homelessness find stability, dignity and hope through the Food and Care Coalition.

As we look back on 2025, the numbers tell the story of a community that cares. Together, we reached record levels of service:

  • 109,451 meals served – the most in our history.
  • $253,115 in hygiene items distributed.
  • 36,036 bed nights provided through transitional and permanent housing.
  • 11,189 loads of laundry completed.
  • 50,769 showers offered.
  • 50,000 volunteer hours donated by 7,200 unique volunteers.

What makes these milestones remarkable is who fuels them. While many charitable organizations rely heavily on government funding, less than 10% of our support comes from government sources. More than 90% is contributed locally by individuals, families, faith communities and businesses right here in Utah County.

By operating frugally and carrying no debt, the Food and Care Coalition carefully stewards every donated dollar. We are committed to using resources wisely to fulfill our mission of alleviating poverty and homelessness with care, dignity and respect.

Looking ahead, we are focused on strengthening our impact. In 2026, the coalition is conducting program evaluation and research in partnership with Utah State University and Brigham Young University to ensure our services remain effective, responsive and evidence-based. We are also in talks to expand our partner base.

Community involvement has always been, and will continue to be, essential to our mission. We extend our deepest gratitude to our donors, volunteers, collaborative partners and staff. Your compassion and generosity help stabilize lives, restore hope and build pathways forward for those in need. Thank you for standing with us.
