The Utah County Sheriff’s Office has asked for the public’s help in identifying a woman involved in the theft of a trailer earlier this month.

At around 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 23, a pickup truck entered Sunset Storage & RV, a self-storage facility located in Eagle Mountain, according to a release from UCSO.

After driving around the parking lot, a truck allegedly backed up to a 2021 Flagstaff Micro Lite travel trailer and then proceeded to leave with the trailer, which was worth an estimated $29,000. The trailer’s owner discovered it was missing on Monday and reported the theft to the sheriff’s office.

The suspects drove a 2007 gray Ford crew cab pickup. The truck had no license plates, an extra light on the roof above the third brake light and what appears to be camping gear in the bed, according to video surveillance. The truck appeared to be driven by a man with a woman sitting in the passenger seat. According to the UCSO, there may have been a third occupant in the truck as well.

Before going to Sunset Storage & RV, the Ford pickup truck was seen on security cameras at the Holiday Oil gas station located just south of the storage area. The woman, believed to be the passenger in the pickup, entered the gas station to purchase a handful of items where she was seen on the store’s security cameras.

The UCSO has asked that anyone who recognizes this woman, the Ford pickup truck she was riding in, or any of the camping gear in the bed of the truck, call Central Utah Dispatch at (801)794-3970 and ask to speak to a deputy.
