Cornbelly’s in Spanish Fork launched its third annual Sunflower Festival this past weekend. The festival will run each Monday, Friday and Saturday throughout September, along with the rest of Cornbelly’s farm activities.

The farm’s sunflower fields span more than 15 acres, with a sunflower photo trail for taking pictures and the “U-pick” field where guests can pick their own sunflowers to take home for an extra fee. Visitors can also purchase vases to fill with sunflowers they pick while visiting.

The U-pick field, which is the largest of the two, hadn’t started to bloom as of Monday evening, but Natalie Jensen said the field will hopefully be in full bloom later this week.

Jensen, the Cornbelly’s location manager, who is from the Spanish Fork area, said the festival is a great way for people to spend time with family.

“Get out, get off the computers and the phones and have somewhere to go where you can really get away from the rest of the world and connect down on the farm,” she said.

Ticket prices start at $13.99 and also include admission to other activities at Cornbelly’s, including the Reba McEntire-themed corn maze, hay rides and a ropes course.

Sunflower season will likely run through mid-October, Jensen said, and afterward, Cornbelly’s will transition to pumpkin season. While Cornbelly’s also has a location in Lehi, the sunflower fields are only located in their Spanish Fork location.

The Spanish Fork Cornbelly’s is located at 3687 W. 5600 South and is open from 4-9 p.m. Mondays and 1-9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays during the month of September.
