Provo police have identified Alejandro Andres Demery as a passenger in a vehicle they say fled from officers and crashed outside of a home in Provo on Sunday, April 7, 2024.

Provo police are looking to locate a suspect and passenger who they say fled from law enforcement and then crashed outside of a home earlier this month.

The crash happened near 130 E. 500 North in the early hours of April 7.

Police attempted to stop the vehicle for license and moving violations. The car reportedly sped off, then flipped onto two vehicles outside of a Provo home, ultimately landing on its side, Fox 13 reported.

Police have identified the driver as 29-year-old Amairany Axel Alvarado. The passenger with her is identified as 32-year-old Alejandro Andres Demery, who police say is a wanted felon with active warrants out for his arrest by the U.S. Marshals Service.

Both are said to have fled the scene after the accident.
