Sylvia and her family have experienced some unexpected trials during this past year. The mother of three was suddenly diagnosed with sudden onset Tourette syndrome and functional neurological disorder. The symptoms have taken away Sylvia’s ability to work, drive and even fully control her own body at times. “These disabilities changed my entire life overnight,” she said.

Sylvia’s boyfriend, Joshua, works to pay for rent, bills, groceries, and medical expenses. But, the family is finding it difficult to stretch one income far enough to cover everything and be able to provide an enjoyable Christmas for their three children.

“We simply can’t afford Christmas this year. Assistance would lift a huge weight off us and give our kids the joy, stability, and normalcy they deserve after such a painful and overwhelming year,” Sylvia said.

Four-year-old Marcus needs new sweatpants and shirts. He would love to get Bluey, Spiderman and Disney books as well as Legos and Spiderman toys.

Janie is eight years old and could use new leggings, a fleece jacket and sweatpants. She enjoys Disney books or books about space. She would like to get arts and crafts materials as gifts.

Ten-year-old Joseph needs a new long-sleeve shirt, zipper jacket and a coat. He would also like some Disney books and a Needoh squeeze cube and other sensory toys.

Starting at $4.32/week.
