Letter: A new proposal for Utah Lake’s future
As the Utah Lake dredging and islands proposal has hit a legal wall, perhaps LRS can use its billions on a new proposal, which could get more public support, better scientific approval, and additional state and federal funding.
How about pumping water from the Pacific, through desalinization plants, leaving some in California and Nevada, creating a lake with islands in Tooele County, and continuing on to put water into the Great Salt Lake?
A much better plan!
