Climate Change is threatening our water supply, drying the Great Salt Lake, creating poisonous dust clouds, devastating Utah agriculture, increasing severe forest fires, and threatening the long-term viability of the snow sport industry.

This bill will create thousands of new jobs building gigawatts of solar installations and providing the raw materials to onshore the supply chain for electric vehicles and renewable energy. Thousands of new working-class jobs.

The bill provides financial relief for our senior citizens who need to make daily decisions to buy prescriptions or food.

It is paid for by requiring corporate tax avoiders to pay a fair share of their profits in taxes and to search out rich tax cheats. When large corporations and millionaires pay taxes at a lower rate than the average American, there is something wrong with our system.

It is evident that our congressional delegation has more concern for their rich benefactor than for average Utahns.
