In an earlier letter to the editor I implied that Spencer Rand was the recipient of significant outside money in his run for Orem City Council. In reviewing campaign finances with Spencer, I learned that he is self funded, a remarkable feat and one which I commend. I know Spencer and his family and have great admiration for them. I stand corrected.
