Letter: Court system cares more about murderer’s feelings than victims
Really what is wrong with our system?
Taberon Honie, his attorney and I quote from the paper’s article on 07/12-2024: Erick Zuckerman argued the state’s plan “creates an unnecessary & substantial risk that Honie will not be adequately anesthetized & will suffer a horrific death & cause a “burning sensations” & dying in writhing pain.
“Good” — what about when Honie was convicted in 1999 for sexually assaulting then murdering 49-year-old Claudia Benn, the mother of his ex-girlfriend. According to court documents, Benn’s three grandchildren were inside the home at the time.
Why do these attorneys try to protect these people? Oh I know it’s the money.
What about the deceased what she went through & the 3 grandkids.
He should be made to have a death of excruciating pain!
