Nicole Christiane Uhlig

Aug 23, 2021

June 17, 1979 – July 22, 2021

Our loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend has passed from this world and gone to join the angels in heaven.

Nicole was born June 17, 1979, in Provo, Utah to Bonnie Jean (Skewis) Gruenebaum and Johannes Michael Uhlig. She attended Orem High School and Marinello School of Beauty. She was very charismatic and people were naturally drawn to her. She had a special love for animals, especially cats. She was very talented and excelled in most things she tried, including dance, art, and styling hair and makeup. Her mom enjoyed the time she got to spend with her as she’d do her hair and makeup. As a teenager, her siblings would all wait their turn to have Nicole do their hair for church or pictures. Everyone always went to her to make sure they looked nice before leaving the house.

Nicole was a very loving and compassionate soul and would help anyone she could, even when she was struggling herself. She had a deep love for all children, but none more than her own. They were truly, the loves and light of her life.

Nicole is survived by her children, Sydney Nicole Milfeld and Blake Landon Milfeld, her mother, Bonnie Gruenebaum (John), her father, Mike Uhlig (Charlotte), her siblings, David Michael Uhlig, Chanel Angelique Uhlig, Chelsie Marissa Tropple, Jon Gruenebaum, Candice Morgan, Shelley Gruenebaum, and Adrienne Gruenebaum, longtime friend and partner Ronald Milfeld, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Gottfried Uhlig, Inge Bretz, Darlene Faye (Wood) Skewis, and Dale Raymond Skewis.

Please join us in celebrating Nicole’s life on August 28 , 2021 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 1000 N. Main Street in Orem, Utah. Video and displays available at 10:30am, memorial service at 11:00.
