Veda Kaylynn Barrett Doyle

Dec 10, 2021

Veda Kaylynn Barrett Doyle, 58, of Saratoga Springs Utah passed away December 8, 2021 surrounded by her family in her husbands arms at Mountain Point Medical Center after a lifetime of health struggles.

Kaylynn was born on July 17, 1963 in Provo, Utah to Jack and Carol Barrett. She graduated from Provo High School where she participated in the drill team. Kaylynn worked at Pyketts and was a talented seamstress. This is where she met and married the love of her life Edward Lynn Doyle on September 26, 1985. They spent the next 36 years dedicated to each other. They had three children Ashley (Chris) Schlaak, Tyson Doyle, Amy(Matt) Gardner. Kaylynn lived for her four grandchildren Penelope, Maxwell, Eden, and Nash. They were here entire world.

Kaylynn loved everything girlie and sparkly and passed that along to her daughters and granddaughters. She was a wonderful cook and baker who brought her family together on Sundays for family dinner. She loved traveling to Wendover to watch her favorite bands perform. Kaylynn was known for her love of gardening and looked forward to planting it every spring. She would take her grandchildren out to the garden on her search for tomatoes. You never entered her kitchen where you didn’t find plants and flowers. She loved summer and the warm weather and you would often see her on walks with her grandchildren to feed the horses or caring for her garden. She was one of the most selfless and loving people, always willing to help anyone even during her hardest times. We will miss her every second of everyday for the rest of our lives.

She is survived by her father Jack (Sandy), husband, children, grandchildren, her sister and best friend Kandie, brother Kevin (Laurie), and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Carol (Jerry), brother Kim, sister Kristi and nephews Rusty and Ryan.

Funeral services will be held at 368 Aspen Hills Blvd in Saratoga Springs, Utah on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 12pm. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial to follow at the Provo City Cemetery.
