Patricia Irwin Kouba
Patricia Irwin Kouba of Highland, Utah passed from this life on December 6, 2021, shortly after her 91st birthday. Pat was born on November 25, 1930, in Los Angeles, California to Robert Randall and Mary Louise Irwin. She married and raised her family in southern California, where she was active in Toastmistress Club, Carousel equestrian drill team, and employed in an administrative capacity at various companies. She was a loving mother, faithful friend, and outstanding hostess.
In 1996, she married John Kenneth Walzak. They moved to Highland, Utah in 2010 where she made many new friends. She was actively engaged in the lives of her children and grandchildren, supporting them in their various endeavors. She was charming, outgoing, and generous to her family, friends, and neighbors.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Walzak, her children, Christine (Bill) Estes, Gary (Michelle) Tobian, Jeffrey (Judy) Tobian, and step-daughter, Diana (Ron) Kloostra, her grandchildren, Michael (Amy), Stephen (Nikole), Jessica (Eric), C.J., Baylee, Bobby, Bradley, and Nicholas, as well as 8 great-grandchildren. Preceded by her parents, sister Betty, brother Bobby, and granddaughter Jenny.
A memorial service for Pat will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Alpine 4th LDS ward building located at 910 South High Bench Road, Alpine, Utah. Interment, Highland Cemetery.
