Kelly John Jones
Kelly Jones was born October 16, 1944 to Allen and Marjorie (Jeppesen) Jones in Hawthorne, Nevada. He passed away on December 18, 2021 in the assisted living center where he had been residing for three years. Kelly was at peace during the last few days of his life knowing he would soon be in the arms of his loving mother, father and brother Freddy. Although Kelly struggled with his disabilities and was physically limited, his heart provided him with his greatest strength. Those who knew Kelly recognized and often commented on his big heart and how he was such a kind-hearted man.
Kelly loved soft chocolate chip cookies, Pepsi, watching all sports, Netflix, Wendover, visits from his sister, Linda, taking walks with his nephew Mike, listening to the Matt Lewis Band, surprise visits from his brother Spencer, facials by his niece-in-law, Taylor, haircuts from his niece Heather, and joking with Jackie and other staff members at Heritage Garden’s Assisted Living. His most precious possession was his faithful companion, Ike, who he raised from a puppy.
Kelly will be missed but not forgotten. He is survived by his; Daughter Tiffany (Don) Palmer of Orange County, Calif; Brother Spencer Jones of Cottonwood, Az; Sister Linda Lewis of Springville Utah; Nieces and Nephews; Shari Courtney, Windy Jones, Spencer Jones Jr., Matthew Lewis, Michael (Taylor) Lewis, Rachelle Vanderplas, Heather (Brian) Wiscombe and special friends Paul and Lana Ruggirello and Leota Mcbride.
Kelly’s only sister and caregiver, Linda Lewis, would like to acknowledge and express much heartfelt gratitude on behalf of herself and Kelly to the staff and administration of Heritage Garden’s Assisted Living, especially, but not limited to, Rebecca Vom Dorp, Jackie Huff, Ted Woodger, Letty, Holly and Joe; and to ICare Home Health & Hospice
