Dennis Thomas “Skip” Oxborrow
Dennis Thomas “Skip” Oxborrow passed away at his home on November 10th, 2021, after a short but valiant battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Skip was born November 21st, 1944, to Delbert Oxborrow and Eva Colledge Oxborrow Johnson. He lived his entire life in Lehi, growing up on the family farm and graduating from Lehi High School in 1963. He married Connie Ault on January 14th, 1966.
After high school, Skip joined the Utah National Guard and completed his basic training at Fort Ord, California. He spent several years working for Boise Cascade, until becoming a full-time member of the Utah National Guard. He enjoyed his career at Camp Williams for the next 35 years, until retiring at age 60. He then worked for Lehi City until retiring from the Streets Department just this past January.
Skip is survived by his wife, Connie; Children Corbet (Amy), Kyle (Amy), Marci (Brandon) Bliss, and Clayton (Kelsey); 8 grandchildren; 1 brother and 2 sisters. Preceded in death by his parents and his special uncle, Jack Colledge.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 18, 2021, in the Lehi 12th Ward Chapel, 1149 N. 300 W. Lehi, Utah. Family and friends may call Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the same church, and on Thursday morning from 12:00 to 1:00 pm prior to the service. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.
