Mary Lynn Boren
Mary Lynn Boren, age 79, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her husband and boys on August 19, 2022. She was born in Lehi, UT, the youngest of Lynn “Snook” and Beulah Lewis. She graduated from Lehi High School. On January seventeenth, 1964, she married the love of her life, E Lynn Boren. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together they had four children, Shane, Jason, Jodilyn and Brad.
Mary Lynn was a loyal friend to many and loved making new friends everywhere she went. She was most often the life of every party, making others laugh and smile. She loved serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Later in life her and Lynn were able to serve as service missionaries at the Heber Valley Girls Camp. She adored every minute with those girls and her friends. When they weren’t at home you could find her and Lynn camping. She loved her trailer, being in nature and sitting around a table playing games of every kind. Her family, but especially her grandchildren, meant the world to her. She went to any and all of their activities.
Mary Lynn was welcomed to her heavenly home by her beloved daughter Jodilyn, her parents Snook and Beulah, sister Geraldine and in-laws Vern and Vonda.
She is survived by her husband Lynn and three sons, Shane (Marla), Jason, and Brad (Kandis). Also, her ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
An evening Viewing will be held Wednesday, August 24th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel located at 1250 E 200 S, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 25th, at 11:00 am, at the same location, where a Viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Interment will take place in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
