Diane Cox Frost, age 82, passed away peacefully in her home on February 4, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Born on July 21, 1939, to Clifford and Electa Cox, Diane was one of three children. She enjoyed picnicking and taking scenic drives in the mountains of Utah.
Diane was educated in the Provo School District, attending Franklin Elementary, Dixon Jr. High, and Provo High School. Upon graduation, she met the love of her life, Darrel LaMar Frost, and settled in Spanish Fork, Utah, where they both worked to provide for their family. Together they had five children. Diane had various professions throughout her life, being a full-time mother, lunch lady for Nebo School District, and baker for Brigham Young University Dining Services. She volunteered as a Pink Lady for Mountain View Hospital for 35+ years. She was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she held various callings.
Being a wife, mother, grandmother, and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were some of her favorite things in the world. Diane loved hosting family gatherings, cooking, spending time with club members, shopping for a good deal, and traveling the country. Diane was dedicated to her family, work, and church callings throughout her life. She could talk to anyone and make them feel comfortable and well cared for. Diane was happiest when serving those she loved.
Diane is survived by her children Julie Frost, Becky (Kirk) De Heer, Steven Frost, Brenda Vaifo’ou, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and her sister, Dorthea Horrocks. Diane is preceded in death by her husband, Darrel LaMar Frost, her son, Brent Frost, and her brother, Allen C. Cox.
