Coleen Fenton Atkinson

Coleen Fenton Atkinson a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend returned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. She was born on October 7, 1937 in American Fork, Utah to Ray Walker and LaVerda Dalton Fenton.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Tammra (Tim) Salisbury, Chad (Julie) Atkinson, Todd (Jill) Atkinson as well as her 14 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brothers and their wives Leland (Pat) Fenton, Boyd (Shelley) Fenton and sister-in-law Beverly Jean (Larry) Hansen. She is having a joyous reunion in Heaven with her husband Lloyd Atkinson, her parents, and her great-grandson Dawson Joseph Lindstrom. She was also preceded in death by Lloyd’s parents Gene and Edna Weeks Atkinson as well as her brothers-in-law and their wives Delbert (Karly Atkinson and Rom (Ruth) Atkinson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Grove Ward Chapel, 455 East 200 South, Pleasant Grove, UT. Friends and family may attend a viewing from 9:00 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
