Jacqueline Gayle Memmott Wampler

Jacqueline Gayle Memmott Wampler of Orem, Utah passed away peacefully at her home on January 15, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Jackie was born in Los Angeles, California on March 30, 1937, to Joseph Herold and Bernice Nethercott Memmott. She married Forest Edward Wampler, Jr. on February 8, 1958. Together they had four children. They were sealed together as a family in the Los Angeles Temple on May 22, 1980.

Jackie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved to serve others. Her greatest passions were her family, family history, and all things BYU. She loved doing crossword puzzles, reading, and crocheting, attending the Hale Theater, and watching Hallmark movies.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Forest; her four children Gary “Craig” (Janet) Wampler of Twin Falls, ID; Cindy (Tom) Jarvie of Green River, WY; Karen (Brad) Canfield of Orem, UT; and Larry (Mike Pfister) Wampler of Marysville, WA; and her 25 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 24, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at the Lakeridge 4th Ward Chapel located at 158 E 1100 S, Orem, UT. MASKS required. A viewing will be held Monday morning prior to the service from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
