Robert Lee Farris, Sr.

1936 — 2022

Robert (Bob) Lee Farris, Sr. graduated from Earth on January 18, 2022 at the age of 85.

Bob was born in 1936 to Newell and Ollie Farris. In 1957 he was sealed to Sylvia Lowe in the Salt Lake City temple.

Together they had eight children: Robert Lee, Jr. (Robin), Paul Newell (Mary), Donel Lynn, Rebecca (James), Ruth (Mark), Todd Nelson (Margaret), Jonathan Cordon, Sr. (Michelle), and Sean Michael, Sr. (Janna). He is survived by 7 children, 32 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Donel Lynn.

He was faithful to his many callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He and Sylvia served two full-time missions in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa.

Services will be held Thursday, January 27, with the viewing starting at 9:30, and the funeral services to follow shortly after at 1400 E. 900 S. Springville, UT. For virtual attendance, please use the Zoom meeting ID: 964 5648 71. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Utah Food Bank.
