Cameron “Cam” Alexander Gililland

Cam Gililland age, 76, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, in Payson, Utah. Cam was born on March 13, 1945, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, to Benjamin Albert and Helen Eustacia Neal Gililland.

Cam grew up on 205 Butternut Lane in Ohio. He attended Nordonia High School in Macedonia, Ohio, and graduated on June 7, 1963. He attended Ohio State University, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree on March 15, 1969. Cam was an accomplished drummer, working his way through Ohio State playing with his band.

Cam served his county in the United States Navy from 22 of June 1967 to 01 August 1968, during the Vietnam Conflict.

He worked in the food manufacturing industry back east for several years. In 1986, Cam moved to Utah to help open the Stouffers Plant in Springville, now known as the Nestle USA plant. Cam was the plant manager for several years, retiring in 1993.

Cam was an accomplished Metal Artist and provided artwork for several celebrities for their cabins in the Park City area. He loved collecting and restoring Vintage Cars and Motorcycles and loved the annual trips to the Bonneville Salt Flats. He was also an avid Car Show enthusiast, winning several trophies, over the years. He also loved collecting Western Art.

He is survived by his lifetime friend, Connie Wilson, and many other friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Helen Gililland

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Payson City Cemetery, 400 North 800 East, Payson, Utah. A visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 12:00 ­ 1:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Utah.
