Thomas George Meecham, passed away July 10, 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Tom was born on April 22, 1953 in Provo, Utah, son of Anagene Davies and Elmo Meecham, younger brother to sisters Christine and Susan.

After graduating from Provo High School, he served a church mission in Pennsylvania, then studied at BYU where he met his 1st wife, Cheryl Cottrell. They married on April 17, 1975. Tom joined the Air Force as a helicopter pilot. Tom and Cheryl enjoyed moving to many places as Tom fulfilled his military assignments, including the Persian Gulf War in 1991.

Tom and Cheryl had four children: Andrea, Dustin, Amber, and Derek, and later 11 grandchildren.

Tom retired and eventually moved to Heber, Utah with his 2nd wife, Terri Crandall, who he married on June 6, 2003. Tom enjoyed flying gliders at the Heber airport, fishing, skiing, and taking care of his yard. Terri stayed by his side in every way caring for his escalating health needs. His final year was spent in assisted living at Jamestown, Provo, Utah.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Berg Provo chapel, 185 East Center St. Provo, UT 84606. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
