John Wright Tyler

Provo, UT — John W. Tyler was born at home on April 30, 1938 in Provo, Utah to Austin and Emily Tyler. He passed away peacefully on June 18, 2022 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah following a brief illness.

John was preceded in death by his parents, by his sister, Rosemary Mackay, by his brother Lamont Tyler, and a stepson Michael Wiggins. He is survived by Annette Tyler, his beloved wife of 22 years, his brother Steven Tyler, his sister Jean Harper, his ten children, Ben and Valerie Tyler, Marianne and Scott Myers, Jim Tyler, Julie Wiggins, Chris and Dave Budge, David and Catherine Tyler, JoAnn and Dave Tien, Robyn Reed, Annalee and Tim Zeidner and Steve and Lydia Tyler, and his stepchildren Nathan Wiggins, Evan Wiggins, Ana Wiggins, Andrea Wiggins, and Beth Wiggins. He has many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 25, at 11am, at the Edgemont South Stake Center

350 E. 2950 N., Provo, Utah. Viewing is from 9:30 – 10:30 am in the Relief Society Room
